Use this path to integrate a team specification with a project you already use. Begin with the process you perform manually or with one agent, then describe its inputs, outputs, decisions, and handoffs. Your personal agent helps compare that process with the fixed Engineer, Founder, or Research profile. You review the proposed files before their installation. The walkthrough ends with an inspected specification and grants no execution authority.

## Before you begin

Read [Install Bowerloom](/docs/start/) for the version and requirements. Use your existing personal agent for the walkthrough. If the project already contains `.bowerloom/`, use [revision](/docs/revision/) instead of fresh installation. Questions belong in [Q&A through the feedback guide](/docs/feedback/#ask-a-question).

## Follow the integration

1. [Map your existing workflow](/docs/guides/integrate-workflow/) into roles and handoffs.
2. [Integrate your first team](/docs/learn/first-team/) with `bowerloom up`, approving each step.
3. [Read and review your setup](/docs/learn/review-your-setup/) against the agreed workflow.

## Use a separate workspace

For an optional unused workspace, use [Prepare a separate workspace](/docs/guides/new-workspace/). It stores the same fixed profile in a new target. It does not replace or import your existing project. [Teams, agreements, and files](/docs/concepts/teams-and-files/) explains the proposed specification.
